Careers at Silverback

Silverback Strategies is a fast-growing performance marketing agency located just five minutes outside Washington, D.C. in Old Town, Alexandria. Working at Silverback feels like working at a startup – only without all of the uncertainty. We’re all here for one reason, and that’s to do great work. If clients are thrilled with your performance, then you’re a star here. We depend on new ideas and innovative thinking from every employee, every day. We’re casual, collaborative and busy — and we’re ready to add a new member to our Sales & Marketing team.

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to function as our Sales & Marketing team’s support by coordinating meetings, managing the department’s logistics, owning all internal sales and marketing materials, and being available as a liaison for clients and potential clients.

Here’s what we’ll expect from you:

  • You can translate digital marketing insights into sales materials
  • You think strategically about using digital marketing to solve business problems
  • You’re an excellent writer
  • You have an eye for design
  • You can juggle multiple projects and create outstanding work on a tight schedule

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • You’ll support our sales and client services teams
  • You’ll learn and maintain a thorough understanding of digital marketing trends
  • You’ll work closely with our digital marketing experts to translate digital marketing insights into sales and marketing materials
  • You’ll help develop digital marketing strategies for new and existing clients
  • You’ll work closely with the VP of Sales & Marketing, but you’ll also have the independence to manage your projects
  • You’ll help build and maintain a list of qualified, new business prospects
  • You’ll send champagne to random people (seriously)

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 1-3 years experience in a professional setting preferred (internships are fine)
  • Experience in a digital marketing or advertising agency is a huge plus, but not required
  • Eagerness to learn and grow quickly and independently
  • Someone who is self-motivated and takes initiative
  • Attention to detail, even when working under tight deadlines
  • Time management and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to receive constructive criticism without taking it personally
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management or relevant major OR equivalent experience

We offer an outstanding benefits package and will consider relocation support for the right individual. Please send salary requirements and a copy of your resume to jobs@silverbackstrategies.com.
